What is glue-down vinyl (dryback PVC)?
Glue-down vinyl and dryback PVC are names for the same floor: thin PVC planks that you bond directly to the subfloor with adhesive. With no click system or underlay in between, you get an exceptionally stable, smooth floor with a low build height. A flat, dry and clean subfloor is the most important requirement.
The benefits of a glue-down vinyl floor
- Low build height of 2 to 2.5 mm, ideal for renovations and door heights
- Very stable and suitable for large surfaces
- Excellent heat conduction, perfect with underfloor heating
- Waterproof and low-maintenance
